Simona is the Head of the Romanian Credit Bureau’s Legal Department since 2006 and, starting with May 2018, its Data Protection Officer.

In performing her duties, Simona was responsible for the legal coverage of all the Bureau’s projects, including the implementation of the credit scoring and the alerts, the integration of new categories of clients and, maybe the most challenging, the implementation of the GDPR provisions in the Credit Bureau System.

She is member of the Romanian Banking Association-Credit Bureau Working Group in charge with the drafting of the Code of Conduct for personal data processing in the Credit Bureau System and, also member of the Romanian Banking Association’s Working Group of Data Protection Officers.
